Promised legal update

So earlier I promised to make regular local legal updates. Turns out I'm some combination of busy and slackass. But here goes: The aforementioned big products liability wrongful death trial in State Court has begun this week with jury selection wrapping up today. Persons of note remaining in the jury panel currently: Professors Appel and Gabriel from the law school, and Commissioner David Lynn. Professors Carlson and Ellington were also in attendance as onlookers yesterday.

We'll be following this trial and giving updates.

Just out of curiousity, is it normal to disclose the names of jurors on an ongoing trial?

Don't know either way, but the trial is public, and anyone can walk in the courtroom and recognize that David Lynn is in the jury box (you know, if they knew who he was and all), so yeah, it's probably legal.

David Lynn will be a great juror, because he's had three years of practice sitting quietly for long periods of time, as an ACC Commissioner. Seriously, does this guy ever talk?

DiDDY, I'd appreciate a daily David Lynn bow tie update.

Is Plaintiff represented by Butler, Wooten? Someone local?

So the bowtie is just for Commission meetings? i.e., It's his uniform? Hot!
