Recently, the Georgia Association of Educators released their endorsement for Georgia House of Representatives for District 115. After an extensive interview process with all three candidates, Georiga's largest education lobby, the Georgia Association of Educators, recognized that Doug McKillip will be the most effective advocate for education issues. McKillip will work alongsided Georgia's teaching professionals to advance K-12 education in Georgia to its potential.
When asked about the endorsement of the Georgia Association of Educators, McKillip said, "I am looking forward to advocating for education issues at the Capitol, specifically woking to restore the $1.25 billion cuts to K-12 education."
Surprise, surprise .... the educators' union supports the Democratic candidate who mirrors the state party in his platform.
E.H. talked to local leaders and others to come up with his ideas, and unlike a minority democrat, will actually have a chance to have an impact on the issue.
Good Point. McKillip's only two endorsements are the AFL-CIO union and the GAE union, which on a national level (NEA union) is controlled by the AFL-CIO union. So he's only supported (so far) by not only unions, but pretty much the same union.
If McKillip were a tasty sandwich, I suppose he'd be endorsed by both Cool Ranch and Nacho Cheesier Doritos.
I guess that's one way to look at, the other is that Doug has gotten every endorsement offerred so far. So while his tasty sandwhich is loaded, EH and Regina just come plain.
Actually, I'm wrong. I'll go ahead and admit it. EH has the endorsement of the Secretary of the Republican Party, who said, "A Culpepper victory would be a win for the Republicans in the state House."

Who did the Georgia Association of Educators endorse in this race?
Why do I think that you already know the answer to that question?
Just post the link, Mr. Mabry.

See, was that so hard?

The educator's union also endorsed Kathy Cox and several Republicans, and the teachers are one of the most important voting blocks, and rightfully so!
I wonder what percentage of teachers are union members?

This just in: Larry McKinney resigns from the Chamber of Commerce. Maybe Culpepper can get his old job back.
Culpepper is definitely going to win in the general. He has the endorsemtn of Jeff Rader.
Y'all can add the Sierra Club to Doug's list of endorsements.
...y'all can expect another one shortly too.
