Charlie Maddox: New Website?

Folks around town are telling us that Charlie Maddox may have a new website up soon.

You may remember that Maddox’s website caused a small uproar in the local blog community a month or so ago, after disclosure reports showed that he spent some $2,400 on a website that was, to put it mildly, subpar.

kinda hard to imagine that anybody really cares about this...Charlie will just tie up a percentage of the black vote but won't make it into the run-off so, it doesn't much matter what he does with his web site, does it?

He'll probably split the African-American vote with Keith Johnson (if Johnson is, indeed, in the race) and with Heidi (if she, indeed, decides to run).

I think you're misreading Charlie Maddox.

If Tom Chasteen wasn't in the race, Maddox would be the Chamber candidate. Assuming he runs a credible campaign, he'll do pretty well with those folks even with Chasteen in the race.

He didn't enter the race to be a "black" candidate, though he'll do well there, too. He's not going to split any votes with Keith Johnson. Johnson will have the moonbat vote locked up (he's a black Dick DeRose), but that's about it.

I seriously hope that Maddox's site as it currently stands, consisting of a single 102K GIF image (!), is not what this promised new web site turned out to be...
