I quit!

That's right, I'm done with the blog. Why? Well, I'm not quite ready to give up my career, which I feel like I'd have to do to go on with the blog properly. Plus, politics in Athens is too dysfunctional for me to do any good on here anyway. And I've got some screenplays to write; I'm not getting any younger! Good luck.

Well said, very very well said.

Didn't realize there was a rapier wit underneath all the naively conservative (though kind of cute at times) perspectives, DDDY...lol.

Congratulations to Doug and James who will now run against each other, as it should have been all along.

I don't know how to post the link to the Ponsoldt article, but someone should, it's perfect!

Well, if the screenwriting thing doesn't work out, he can always fall back on being a asternaut or a double-naught spy.

Damn. I was getting ready to sing the "So Long, Farewell" song followed by "Happy Trails To You"...

a loose cannon with no balls!

Ponsoldt should just stay in the peanut gallery and lob his cheap shots.

Soon as I discover yu guys, it's all over. Oh well. Guess it's back to reading onlineathens for juicy articles. Hey hillary, I just read Maddox's email. As a black man, it made me laugh since some of my family in Dublin, GA sends me this kind of email set-up all the time. Next time I get one I'll post i'll stick it in my new blog site(hopefully it won't get me disowned by my family).

The Maddox campaign has totally disavowed that ridiculous nonsense.

I don't think any of us ever thought it was actually connected to the campaign. That doesn't mean it's not worth mentioning.
