Wow... what a disappointing evening

Because....

a) we were wrong about a lot of shit.

and

b) the only democrats who are doing well are ones I didn't vote for.

The really scary thing is not the landslide in the governor's race, but the astonishing numbers being turned in by sacrificial lambs like Perry McGuire and Brent Brown.

I guess this is our new day in Georgia, huh?

    Disappointing is right...not sure what to even type. I'm a little flabbergasted and surprised. I'll ponder all this and perhaps have something to say tomorrow.

    Looks like I have 784 thank you notes to write! Wow I'm flattered - particularly for a race I didn't even campaign in! This is definitely encouraging for the future.

    Today's ABH: "Cowsert said he didn't know what turned the election in his favor." Um, having your brother-in-law help get the district redistricted in your favor?

    Not a sore lOser, just a statement of fact. Cowsert won by about the same Rep/ Dem percentage as the new senate district is.
